Trent XWB

ITP has been a risk and revenue sharing partner for the Trent XWB programme since 2009 and is responsible for the design, manufacturing and assembly of the low-pressure turbine: NGVs, discs, casings, seals, TBH (Tail Bearing Housing) and RBS (Rear Bearing Support).

The Trent XWB engine powers the last generation Airbus A350 XWB airplanes in their 800, 900 and 1000 versions. With a fan diameter of 118 in (3m), the engine produces a thrust from 74,000 to 92,000 lb.
